Anyone know of a society that plays a lot of links golf-would love to play more but the prices are a bit steep

The Hilary Society is a pre season society that plays the best links courses in Leinster. You have to have a handicap of 5 or less to apply for membership.

Where are you from? What's your handicap? In connacht, you can join the senior alliance. I'm sure it's the same for every provence.

Handicap 9 and under i think?? If you're a little higher you can get in, but you'll have to play off 9.

You'll get 8 or 9 courses for around €150 maybe??

It's winter golf in brutal conditions most days tbf.

+1 - great value but some of the most cold miserable West of Ireland winter golf I have played. Still worth it though - character building, ask PrinceDC.
