    Hi,

We have stripped wallpaper off our sitting room wall.

Before we paint it is there anything we should do to the wall? any undercoat etc?

    Thanks.

If in doubt sand it and then apply undercoat

Thanks. Is their a special undercoat paint? Or is it just a case of using white paint as undercoat?

fill any holes or cracks, wait until dry then sand til smooth, for a primer/undercoat just water down a cheap emulsion 10%.roll on 2 coats in whatever colour of your choice and voila finnito
