new laptop not detecting my wifi but detects others

    HI All,



    i got a new samsung laptop for my gf. when in my house we tried to connect it to my wifi but my wifi did not pop up in the available list, however the neighbours ones did appear but we could not connect as we did not have their passwords.

    The strange thing is my wifi was working perfectly for my iphone and ps3 so i believe the issue is with the laptop, i also put the ethernet cable direct into the laptop and still no luck connecting to the net, although when i done that it did start to show my wifi in the available wifi section but would not accept my password even though it was correct.

    anyone have any ideas on what up with it?
