    It is a sad reflection on our culture and home good feeling when a golfer from the north is the main sports and news headline ahead of provincial G.A.A.finals.Fair play to Darren Clarke but he represents a part of the UK,whether we like it or not.He will get the world wide attention he deserves but I do feel we should give top billing to our local lads,playing for fun and not getting a penny.

    I know, it's a disgrace that a story that a lot of people thought was gone past him prime could come back to beat all the odds and 1 of the main championships in his field, the GAA should close it's doors immediately, after all there's no point in making a movie about it, Rocky has done that.

    I see this thread more as a golf thread than a GAA one so I'm locking it, any issues please feel free to bring it up in the feedback forum
