Ok, seriously need some help with this. Iv my heart set on 6 month braces, its literally only my 5 front teeth at the top I want sorted and as I am going to college next year, I think the 6 month option is for me! I was just wondering if anyone had any information on the best place that does it in ireland, regarding price and all?? Some people have had to pay 3500 yet others have only had to pay a little over a 1000! Its such an expensive year for me so obviously the cheaper they are the better!

Bottom line, cheap things are crap and expensive things are, not always, but more likely to be good. My advice is if you can't afford it at the moment, wait until you can and then get a proper job done.

6 month braces are not for everyone and self diagnosing and treating your 5 teeth may not lead to the ideal result, best to see an orthodontist at www.orthodontics.ie who can give all options. You ask for 6 month braces then that's what you get whether you are suited to them or not so best to see someone who does all types of treatment, many orthodontists do free consultations and prices are fairly comparable to non-orthodontists for each treatment type.

    Good luck op,
    OS

Not too many people come in complaining of crooked back teeth! The best place in Ireland for your orthodontic treatment is a qualified orthodontist and they'll tell you what's the best option...www.orthodontics.ie .

Go to a "6monthbraces" general dentist and guess what, you'll be suitable for a "6monthbrace". Remember, the brackets are the same, the wires are the same, your biology is the same.... the only thing different is that the general dentist has no orthodontic qualification..... so you should expect to pay him a lot less. Average cost of 2 years of orthodontic treatment by a specialist.....€3,500 ..... so for 6 months by a general dentist, I'll let you do the maths ..... remember the brackets are the same, the wires are the same, your biology is the same. :)
