Hi we have decided we are going to get married in vegas in September. We are planning to have a party back home around the Lucan area of Dublin.

I am looking for advise on after parties in general, venues (around the area), past experiences etc...

We are on a budget and would like to get it all for max 2k.

Is a buffet a good idea food wise ?
Is a Dj enough for entertainment or is a band needed ?

Really stuck here as to what to do !!!!!

I covered one once in the Clarion, they had a special package especially for foreign weddings and home celebrations with a buffet. I will be completely honest that I myself was not mad on the food but guests were raving about it. You could also check the Spa hotel and Springfield too. If you were trying to keep costs low I have attended functions in the Foxhunter where they have put food on and it was lovely. DJ or band would be up to yourselves really, most full weddings will have a band.
