Hi All Lots of Iphone4 being sold locked to this network ! If I buy one to be used on the Vodafone network, Can it be done ? / unlocked ? Is it a big deal /Costly ?/ if so will I be able to do Apple updates etc Would appreciate any feedback thank you in advance

You can get one of these.

I've never used one and I think each time you turn your phone on you need to put a code or something, but its all there is at the moment.

OP there is a jailbreak/unlock thread at the top of the page. Simpler again, go to iClarified.com

Well ios5 isn't released yet and there's no unlock for any iphone 4, so if he buys it now, stays on 4.3.3 until gevey or somebody else come up with another unlocking solution for ios5 then he can update and continue using his vodafone chip.

Or OP, what about just getting a vodafone iphone 4 2nd hand, I've one for sale :eek: (see reflowing thread)
