working part time on the HSE supplementary welfare allowance?

    Hi,

    can anyone tell me where i stand with this i have not being awarded my claim from the social welfare as they say they have to meet me at my address before they can award it, they have everything else

    I still apply for jobs every day but there hasn't being any part time jobs that i could do until now and i want to apply for it so my question is what would happen if i got it while still on the SWA payment from the clinic?

    would my payment from them stop completely? or can i still work part time and claim for the days i am not working.

    Also i have being applying for various internships but it stipulates you have to be receiving a social welfare payment for more than three months to get the extra 50 per week, would the HSE emergency payment count?

    go to your local social welfare office inform them of your change in circumstances ditto for your CWO.You will go on casual (x' and o's)

    The time to qualify starts on the first day you signed on.
