javascript gallery?

Anyone got suggestions for a nice *clean* javascript gallery script that'll handle portrait, landscape and square format? I'm looking for something with minimal visual messiness that gives nice big images that I can incorporate a whole-site navigation into. I like Nick Turpin's site http://www.nickturpin.com/work but I'm not convinced on the horizontal scrolling navigation. Been half way round the internet trying to find something. Any suggestions?

Not javascript so it may mark them off the list for you, but the http://www.simpleviewer.net/products/ stuff is quite ok, configurable, free (pro options available), and widely used.

They used to have lightroom integration too!(They may still have it.)
