Looking to get a guide trade in price on an 07 Audi A4.
    2.0 TDI S Line 143bhp.
Dark Grey, 100k miles, NCT 04/13, 17 inch alloys

Looking on various sites, the prices are quite variable.

Anyone in the industry have a trade guide price? Was bought last June 2010 for 19500 when around 85k on it.

About 12k. If you dont mind me saying so the car was very expensive first day. I just rang a friend there who purchased a 07 (170BHP) in late 2009 for 17K and it had only 30k KMS on the clock. It was a s line too.

BTW sell it privately and you will do a lot better.

Wow, he got a good deal, perhaps he bought privately or was an import from UK? I scoured the net for ages and went to 5 garages and it was lowest priced althought I got a good deal on A3 I traded in. Got 9000 for 05 1.6 petrol, so cost 10500 to change.

Cheers for the heads up on the price anyway. Thought it would be around that.

In no panic as its a great motor.

He bought privately but it was an irish car. Have you had any injector trouble and have you replaced the DMF??

Went through the NCT this year without any problems luckily enough. Aint spent anything on it since I got it apart from service and two new tyres:)

Your lucky. The 2.0 engine has a habit of shorting the injectors which are over 900 each. Also the flywheel(DMF) goes in them around that mileage which is another grand.

The lads in the Audi glass palace showroom wont be long telling you its worth nothing on a trade in. You will come out thinking you are driving a Lada..

The trade-in price will vary from garage to garage and will also be dependant on what you are trading it in against and how much the garage expect to sell it on for.

The thing to note though is that the trade-in price is not the important figure, the cost to change price is all that matters.
