Haha, just saw the ad there. My Mother said "who on earth would go to Next at 5am for the sale?!". Duh, Mom. Internet.

Next always start their sale early in the morning and they get an awful lot of people queuing for it. Personally I think it's madness as they never have anything worth buying in their sale. Could be good for clothes for children though I suppose.

There's actually no sale on their site - I thought there would be but there isn't. The girl in the shop told us today that they send all the stuff they want to get rid of to the stores.

I got a nice bikini, few work tops and a sun dress - they actually had a good selection of stuff I thought. I wasn't queueing at 5am or anything! I had never been to a Next sale before today but it was quite good. Their stuff is great quality and they have a great service especially their online store - I buy lots from it and then if it's not suitable then they refund you in store and you don't have to be posting it back.:)

Its the hype around it that gets all the people queuing so early in the morning. I think most other shops have as good, if not better sales than Next and they last longer but there is no hype around them. Also think its not fair not to have the sale online on the Irish site yet its on the English Next site:mad: They would want to have 90% off for me to queue up.

    Yeah I noticed that!

Anyway was just in Next there. And the girl did say they opened at 6am. Ridiculous! She said it was mobbed with queues and all! And this was in Tralee :/ I got a duvet cover and pillow half price. Yay.

I worked at it one year, mental! Absolute state of the place at the end of the day!
The best value is definitely in the kids' clothes, mens' suits and homewares. My aunt had three little ones under 6 so she always queued and pretty much bought their clothes for the year, in loads of sizes. If it didn't fit one it would fit the other :pac:
