Another Disaster

Well after all my hard work in building pens, buying eggs and buying an incubator it all looks set to be fruitless. 50 pheasant eggs due out Tuesday and the incubator goes on the blink. I went to turn them and they were stone cold. I put them in a neighbours incubator but we are not holding out much hope. Then when I woke up this morning I discovered that the dog kennel door had somehow broken and my springer dog and 6 month old labrador bitch were missing. The springer turned up this afternoon but no sign of the labrador. I am absaloutley gutted to say the least as I fear being such a friendly little pup she would hop into the first car she met on the road. I have spread the word around so maybe there is some hope. Anyone round my way see or hear anything about a pup being picked up please let me know.

I met a brown lab heading for the Ross round about after Ferrycarrig today,had a collar on her aswell,you near there ?

I feel your pain BSB - losing a dog is a terribly stressfull experience. I have Greyhound connections in Enniscorthy so I'll tell them to keep an eye out for said pup:)

Well looks like my luck has taken another turn this time thankfully for the better. The labrador pup just walked into the yard today as if she was never even away. I am delighted as after 2 days I had resigned myself to the fact that someone had picked her up. Thanks lads for the offers of help its nice to know that there is lads out there who will help you out when you are in bother.
