Firefly sucked balls, but thankfully only a handful of deviants seem to think otherwise

Battlestar Galactica, assuming we're talking about the remake, was just too hard to watch. I doubt it was worth staying awake for.

IMO i've always thought firefly was one of THE most overhyped pile of dung ever...cowboys in space fgs!

commuity, firefly, BSG, arrested development and seinfeld, i seen all of BSG the others i gave a decent attempt (half of season 1 of community, half of firefly, a good bit of arrested development, and 3 and half season of seinfeld) but could never stick with them, BSG was good but nowhere near as good as some people make out,

i just can fathom why you put the west wing in there, but i also cant believe it has 2 votes already, by far my favourite show of all time,

never seen justfied, sex and the city, the office or curb your entusiasm,

i think lost had a very paticular type of viewer, one that would love it to pieces, people like me, but if you didnt love it then you dispised it and probably stopped watching when they got

into the hatch, or if not then when ben moved the island,

i liked the sci-fi bait and switch that they did, heres a drama/mystery show, and then POW its now a sci-fi/drama/mystery show, queue viewership rating downfall:D

Justified is basically the A-Team without the characters that made that a classic show. Disappointed I wasted so much time on it..3 episodes.

Curb is simply the greatest comedy on tv. I never used to get it really, seeing bits of episodes and thinking meh, before my father bought the boxset. I made him by the rest.

Sex & The City is picking up the votes. I won't vote for this as while I wasn't a fan, it aimed for its market and did it very incredibly well.
Sure when I was in college there were girls dressing up and going out for themed parties for the final episode. Tbh, it was most of my class! Any show that can achieve that is not overrated, it's an incredible success even if you dislike it

Reading the boards census and 77% lads on boards I wouldn't expect many SATC fans here.
But I respect what it achieved and to me, it's not overrated

^ i was going to put in Glee, but i knew it would skew the poll....so i replaced it with S&TC...lol!, i'll put Glee in round 3, pretty cnfident it'll win by a landslide :-)

Btw...i'll take Don's suggestion, the three shows with the highest votes will go into a final round, so nine shows in the death match!

I'm not joking, it's pure and utter tripe. It's in the Law and Order mould but I'd take L&W SVU over it any day of the week. I do like Olyphant too and had great hopes for the show but it lacks any real intelligence or serious plot line. Like I said, it's a bit of fun a la the A-Team but without the charasmatic characters.

Yeah, it's obvious that the two most successful series will pick up votes here.

Lost & SATC were hugely successful and rightly so, but I suspect one of these will pick up the most votes anyway.

I see Friends is picking up a strong vote too - shocking!!

The A-Team without the characters? Are you sure you're thinking of the right show? Cause that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If we are talking about the same show, you really should have given it longer. It's actually a fantastic show, and really picks up mid seaon 1, after a decent first few episodes.

By your own admission you've only seen three episodes. Coincidently enough, it really picked up around episode four and went from strength to strength. Your loss.

Went for Friends and Lost.

Friends was ok for about 3 seasons but...................WE WERE ON A BREAK aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost is the most overrated tv show ever.

Most of these shows aren't even rated in the mainstream, it just has a cult following.

LOST was completely overrated though, it was a pile o shyte by the end

chuck justified and the west wing coming in last, thats what i like to see (well except justified which it looks like i may start watcing based on this poll alone)

sex and the city seinfeld and lost on top, im kinda surprised so many people think seinfeld is overated, thought i was the in a vast minority:o

i dont agree with lost being top but can also understand why it is, also nice to see dexter, entourage and fringe coming in low aswell love them shows,

Justified's first season really suffered with that crime of the week crap. In fact, I'd nearly advocate just forgetting about season 1 and going straight to the more consistent season 2, but you'd **** up the continuity.

Ridiculous comparison tbh no matter what you thought of the show.
Also you only watched 3 episodes. Hardly an informed opinion.
