    On the lookout for something for the winter. My budget is failry low however. €100-€200. Can't find anything on adverts at the moment. Cheers.

    If money's tight have you thought about simply changimg the wheels over on your racing bike? I've been using the same bike continually for the past couple of years, probably putting quite a bit more mileage on during the winter than the summer (and used it for all my road racing).

    it's the frame i'd be worried about in case i came off it and cracked it.

    The only thing that cracked when I came off mine on ice was me ;)

    +1, crashed mine at about 50km/h back in Feb, only thing cracked was 5 of my ribs, although rear wheel was a right off, frame is perfectly OK
