    Hello,

Me = EU citizen living in Ireland
Her = Foreigner who requires VISA to come visit

Question: she's been granted a single entry, short stay visa. She plans to stay less than 90 days total trip, but we had in mind to go touring a couple of EU countries during her stay. Is that possible on this type of visa?

If it is not where do I fix this? I found a re-entry visa application but somehow I have a feeling it seems more aplicable if she planned to stay here.

    Any advice welcome.

    Thanks in advance

    Single entry = single entry

change it now before she enters the country

Thanks, but that won't be that easy. Process is tedious and they advise you not to ask for multiple entries for the first visa. It is a bit stupid.
I was thinking perhaps we can amend something from Dublin once she gets here?
It's easier to provide all the paperwork any agency may need as both of us would be here.

In short - No, it's not possible. Where she is from will also impact on what she needs to get/do.

If she wants to travel Europe, then she will need a visa (possibly) for each country she wishes to enter. There is no single EU visa. There is a visa for Ireland, a visa for the UK, a visa for France, a visa for Germany, etc.

A multiple entry visa for Ireland, simply means she can enter Ireland multiple times, not that she can enter multiple states in the EU.

    .

A schengen visa allows travel in the schengen countries once you're let into one of them
That is most of the eu15 bar Britain & Ireland.

That is right, we are quite lucky as we checked the visa stamp she was given for Ireland and it is for multiple entries, so within 6 months she can exit and re-enter Ireland multiple times. That was my first problem.
The second is the Schengen visa, since I am French she will apply for a French visa and it will be a Schengen one, therefore allowing us to go to France and then to a couple more countries.

Thank you for all the feedbacks.
