DART Tickets?

Going to be using the DART regularly in South Dublin.

Is the 7 day rolling rail ticket my only option? Can I use the DART as many times as I want then? Is there not some monthly pass or what's the craic?

The Irishrail wesbite was not the most helpful in terms of information.

It would work out as 80 Euro a month - that seems a bit pricy to me :)

    Cheers.

Try the bottom half of this page: http://www.irishrail.ie/your_ticket/ticket_types.asp. It's not incredibly useful but combined with the top half of this page: http://www.irishrail.ie/your_ticket/fares_enquiries.asp, it might help you.

I've had a look at those pages already(cheers) - bloody ridiculous - just leaving me confused :)

Looking for a regular DART user to provide some info :)

Cheers for putting that together. A bit ridiculous how complicated the whole pricing structure is.

I think I will just go with 7 day rolling ticket :). I just want to get a regular monthly one like with most cities in the world!

Well that's the one priced at EUR 106. Remember that could end up being significantly cheaper by joining the taxsaver scheme. You save on tax, PRSI and USC.

That ticket could end up costing only EUR 51!

I can't actually see where I can purchase the 7 day rolling ticket. It gives the fare price but does not give a link then to actually purchase the 7 day rolling ticket.

    Can anyone help me??

    What a ridiculous, frustrating website!

The only option then at the DART station is to get an unlimited 7 day ticket which costs 31 Euro!

All Dart/Suburban rail tickets (including the 7 day rolling ticket) can be bought at any DART station for any combination of stations.

You can't get them online - they only sell the intercity tickets online.

    Thank you!

I tried getting the 7 day rolling option at the machine at the DART station just there. All I could find was unlimited travel on the DART for 31 Euro.

Maybe I need to pop into the shop next to it.Ummmmmm.

Hi, I was just wondering with the DART 7day rolling ticket is it only valid for one journey to and from your designated stations? or can you get on/off at stations in between also?!
    Thanks!
