Im not sure if this is the right place to put this thread but il give it a go anyway.

I am looking to try and find out the value of todays euro compared to the Irish punt in the late 70's. It is part of a cost analysis between a project nowadays and back then. Any help would be a greatly appreciated.

There's a website here http://www.anthonykelly.com/inflation.html which has an inflation calculator. It lacks any information on methodology though, so take it's results with a pinch of salt.
