As stated above here is a quick list of what she has had its got 42,000 miles on her she has had a full service kit including plugs, new exhaust full system, levels checked all ok new collant and oil and a couple of other things brakes etc.
Sold it to the brother who is running it in after a long period of it being off the road items above were done after i purchased it for him checked for headgasket failure its grand dont think its timing chain either as no check engine light or oil light
I am thinking dirty petrol i told him to keep putting petrol into her and dont let her run down to the reserve which is when the problem starting starts. it only seems to be when she is warm she will start grand from cold any ideas?

If it starts fine from cold its probably a faulty sensor. Like slidey said it could be a temp control sensor or the fuel pump relay overheating or crankshaft sensor etc etc. It'd be hard to say the exact one.
