I am wondering if there is a way when buying on the .co.uk site if you can filter the search to show only items that can actually be sent to Ireland. Its so annoying looking at items and having to get to checkout before being told they dont deliver here. Any help?

You can set searches to show only items sold by amazon.co.uk, as it's generally other sellers who won't sell to Ireland.

That won't help with those things that Amazon won't send here - I think that's just trial and error.

    It's not really daft.

For instance a small business in the UK might not want to have to register for VAT in Ireland - and the distance selling regulations might mean that it would have to if it offers sales here.

    Underneath seller name and rating

"In stock. Dispatched from United Kingdom.
International & domestic delivery rates and return policy. "

If it doesn't say "international" then don't put it in your basket.

Not quite following. Where is seller name and rating? Can it be done before clicking into an item?

You must click into the item.

Locate the product you want and click the "new and used from" link.

That will bring up all of the Marketplace sellers who have the product for sale.

At least you can tell at a glance. Not as annoying as putting it into your basket and then trying to check out.
