Mouse Keys not working on Windows 7

Hello, I used the "Mouse Keys" feature once before and it worked fine, but it is not working ATM. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and the mouse needs to be re-charged around once a week and sometimes I have to use the keyboard.

Anyway I didn't change anything in the "Make The Mouse Easier To Use" screen in the "Ease Of Access Center". "Turn On Mouse Keys" is ticked and when I go into "Set up Mouse Keys" everything is ticked along with "Using Mouse Keys when NUM Lock IS" set to "ON". I am baffled as to why it does not work. It is much easier using Mouse Keys to go down a page rather than the tab button.
