So I recently finished my phase 6 carpentry exams an passed em but I still have to work off the time for phase 5 and 7 to get fully qualified..
Got on to my training advisor and she told me about this scheme where if your employer has work but cant afford to pay you the full weeks wage, then FAS will pay you 340 a week towards it..I got my results and rang her up again to start the scheme but was told they ran out of funds for now and might be starting again in september:(,anyone know anything about this or know anyone thats actually doin it????:)

sounds like a good scheme, pure balls they have no money. what about if you try a different office/county? they still might have cash
