Muesli bar recipe - healthy or not?

Is this recipe for muesli bars healthy?

    http://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/food-drink/healthy-eating-susan-jane-white-makes-a-deliciously-chewy-muesli-bar-full-of-nutrients-2812037.html

The article says it is, but it seems like an awful lot of agave syrup - isnt that basically just another form of sugar? Ive never even heard of yacon, so i'd prob just use agave or honey.

And i know coconut oil has lots of health benefits, but it still has a lot of calories in it.

Im trying to stave of my doughnut/cookie cravings in work - there's a cafe next to my office with a huge selection and im unfortunately very weak :o.
I was thinking of trying to make something tasty to have with a cup of tea that i could bring to work, like the muesli bars...im just wanting to be sure they are a healthy option before i do.

    thanks

dont look "that" healthy to me, as in they are very calorie dense.. it depends on whether you are counting calories / trying to lose weight or not.

They're probably much better for you than the doughnuts/cookies at work which probably contain transfats.

If you're worried about the calories, just make small ones ;) Or calculate the calories of the first batch and divide by the number of bars. So at least you'll know and you can compare against your alternatives.

That's a high calorie bar. If you have it when you miss a meal, fair enough, but it's not a good idea to make these to eat with your mid morning cuppa.

I think I'd rather have that many calories spread out over a full meal, instead of something that's going to be gone in three bites.
