Without going into too much detail, I have been lending someone money over the past year which they have always agreed to pay back. After an argument and falling out, she now refuses to. Does anyone know what i would have to do to get the money back via legal action?

I was looking at legal websites, and i seen that the small claims court only deals with claims involving businesses and some landlord-tenant complaints, is this true? Also, the money I'm owed sits just under the €2000 euro mark, which i believe is the maximum amount of money dealt with in the small claims court.

I know i made a similar post already, but I wasn't allowed to reply after the first reply was posted on it. I suppose because I'm new on this. And could I get a better answer than "see a solicitor", as I don't have the money for that and want to know if i can at all go through the small claims court.
    Thank you in advance.

Legal advice isn't given out here, and unfortunately legal advice is what you need.

Contact citizens advice bureau or free legal aid centre if you can't afford a solicitor they will stear you in the right direction.
