Hello All - I am replacing about five Emergency 2D light fittings - a few wholesalers have said they dont stock the Robus fitting as they used to have comebacks, other wholesalers say they are A1 and never had any trouble. Any advice on what type/brand 2D emergency fittings contractors use. Thanks

John, IMO 2D fittings are not great, we have them in our building but I have no emergency units as i found that the fittings with emergency packs blew the lamps more frequently.

so we have recessed emergency bulkheads, from profile or ventilux and high frequency 2D fittings (from profile lighting) the HF fittings are on an on off PIR controller and everything has worked very well since we got rid of the emergency packs from the 2Ds and switched to HF. The Thorn club is in the same bracket but I'd stay away from the emergency packs in 2Ds if i could afford to.
