i know it running late in to he summer and im beginning to worry about how my financial situation will work out coming September when i return to college so im wondering would anyone here would have any advice regarding part time work of any sort for the next few months and how would one go about looking?

for example do you think that walking around town handing out CV's is totally pointless at this stage?

im keeping an eye out for adverts on job.s ie but i nothing really suitable comes up

other than that all i can basically think of doing is going to relatives houses and offering to do a bit of gardening for a few bob

my parents dont seem to be the motivating/enthusiastic type so i cant really go to them for advice regarding work of money because they dont really know

so any advice would be appreciated,
    thanks!

Not pointless at all - I saw a shop at the molly malone statue with a staff wanted sign - I think it was a candle shop, Also apply for one of those charity fundraising job - they pay well.

Also apply for any job on job.ie you think you could possibly do - nothing to lose really.

    where are you living

    Hi Guys,

We have a campaign on at the moment for Filing staff in Bank of Ireland -Baggot Street,

We need 25 ppl for Thursday,

If you know anyone who lives close by and are currently looking for work, it will be on -going for a month or so.
It is €8.65 and shift is from 4pm – 12am Monday to Friday. (as the buses do not run at the finish time – they would need to have transport)

There is no real experience needed only good English and strong attention to detail, we are having open days in Swords office Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th

    can you PM with contacts
    Lisa

    That's true.

But a good source of motivation will get you through it.

You only get that level of pay if you hit the targets - fail to reach targets and you're history.

Not with concern - its a flat hourly rate of 13e an hour - they usually give you between 3-4 weeks to see how you get on - not bad since the OP just wants it till the end of summer.

Not easy getting into the charity business and not easy to keep your job when you're in it!
