    hi guys
Im mostly a swimmer but I do a triathlon or so every year just different reasons (challenge, training, etc). I have a normal budget racer (trek) and for my open water swims, if a wetsuit is compulsary, I wear an old longjohns wetsuit. My bike has no tr-bars.
I am training at present for the galway halfironman, and IM wandering should I think about getting tri bars on my bike (dont even know if tribars can be retrospectively fitted...) and/or a tri suit?
    any feedback would be great!
    thanks
    BB

Tri suit is great and really saves time in transition.

I did a sprint on sat and a guy was out of the pool 30 sec before me. He was still in transition trying to put a top on over his wet body when i was leaving with my bike.

I put tri bars on my new bike and find them great. This thread should give you some info http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055834661

I have Profile Design AirStryke aero bars on my road bike. They attach to the existing handlebars.
The brackets are spring loaded so they are out of the way when you are not using them, giving you access to the top bar again.
