Does anybody know of any hurley makers that make good goalkeeper hurls anywhere? Some people think Frank Murphy in Kilmeaden co.Waterford makes good hurls but i have been to him before and I was dissapointed. Does anybody have any advice? Nowadays, is no bands on a hurl better than one or two bands?

I've bought 4 goalie hurleys of Quaid in the past from this website. Been happy with all of them but would recommend getting them banded before use as all mine had to be repaired at some stage.

Ya i think quad are very good hurls but like Indie was saying you should get them banded. On a different note i play in goals myself but am having serious trouble with puck outs only making midfield anyone got any tips to add 10 20 yards to a puck out.

Could try a larger/smaller hurley. Other than that i would say slightly altering your technique.

I have tried a few different techniques all right and different type hurleys hopefully will be able to sort it out.
