Job interview.. clothing!

    So I have just got word I have a job interview this friday for working in a montessori....
    The interview is being held in a hotel conference room.
    Im 21 and wondering should I wear a suit.. or black pants, nice top and cardi? Or black pants and blouse.
    Im gettin mixed opionions from people I talk to some people say suit as its in the hotel and others are saying pants and top as its only a childcare interview? This is my forst intervioew and am nervous enough...:(

    Always overdress rather then underdress. You won't be expected to wear a suit at work but it doesn't hurt to make a good impression.

    I would definetly go more formal than less formal, at least that way you look like you made a real effort, whereas with less formal the interviewer may think you don't really care about the job. I think you would be more negatively judged on wearing less formal even if the interviewer were wearing the same.
