Has anyone noticed the recent revamp of the above? There are some very minor cosmetic changes to the 'front-end' of the site, but more worryingly, they seem to have gone a bit potty with the calculation of elevation figures.

Now, I only expect these to be 'approximate' rather than absolutely accurate, but the following examples might illustrate my point a bit better: this recent route http://ridewithgps.com/trips/300099 from km25 to km40 shows an elevation gain of approx 220m. The same stretch on this route from a few months back http://ridewithgps.com/trips/137173 (km23-38) shows an elevation gain of only 183m.

Comparing RWG with stats from my (new) Edge 500....
    http://ridewithgps.com/trips/307844 - elevation gain 1177m (wildly optimistic !)
    Vs
http://connect.garmin.com/activity/97890856 - elevation gain 900m - shows that it is "out" a lot more now than it was in the past, even allowing for a margin of error.

    Any thoughts?

I loved the interface but it was always crazy on the amount of elevation gained anyway. For example, one of my regular spins has 2 300m climbs and thats it. According to RWGPS I would have been climbing for 1500m on that cycle.
