Budget Photographer Required

    Hi,

Myself and my fiance are getting married in September on the proverbial shoestring budget (Dublin) - literally 10 or so guests, registry office etc.

So just looking for some hints and tips to try and make the day a bit more special for my soon to be bride.

    a) Can anyone recommend a good photographer who will work to budget prices? We will only need them for the length of the ceremony?

    b) Can anyone recommend a good restaraunt or venue where we can have some good food and invite some guests at a reasonable price.

Thanks in advance - we would love to be having a bigger doo but the old recession and mortgage have taken there toll unfortunately so any advice is welcome!

    Cheers,

    Count66

where are you based? have you tried done deal for photographers there are usually loads of ads on there. i was on a tight budget for our wedding so i bargained down my photographer and got him to take the photos and put them on disk so i could do my own album. it worked out great.

    Hi Count,

Congrats and best of luck with the big day!

You wont be short of options, but just to give another recommendation, a close mate can do photographer and framing service, and im sure would be able to work something out on the rate for you as well.

pm if interested, and best of luck again!

Is anyone you know into their photography? My fianceé and I have asked one of our friends who's a photography nut to do our pictures, and therein gotten free photography, plus a very chuffed friend who's honours to be a part of the ceremony. 2 birds, 1 stone!

    Hi Count66

An idea for a restaurant for your meal is the SchoolHouse Restaurant in Ballsbridge. They have a lovely restaurant, so you could have 1 or 2 tables, also they have a lovely bar area.... worth a try !:o
