English Speaking Jobs in France

just wondering if anyone has any experience in working in France and if so have they got any advice on how i go about looking for work there?

Ideally I'd like an English speaking job, not because I dont want to learn French but initially it might be the easiest way to get my foot in the door over there and learn French as i go along. I have masters in digital media, have worked for 2 years in post production, some IPTV and have studied french to degree level.

Its a long shot but any advice would be great, thanks.

I really think you are limiting yourself by seeking English speaking jobs , my thinking would be to improve your French now.

Considering how there are even legislation requiring IS systems used in France to be in French not knowing French is a big limitation (they really value their language highly).

Getting a job in France without French is going to be difficult at best, but if you have studied it to degree level, you should already be fluent

You could try the French speaking part of Switzerland, they tend to be more forgiving about the lack of French and many companies have English as the official language, some where like Nestle or Philip Morris perhaps

thanks for the responses, some of you were more helpful than others. I'm not against learning French, just thought it would be handy to first get an english speaking job and learn french there as im sure i would pick it up pretty quick seeing as i have a good knowledge of it already. Having studied French to degree level probably should amount to fluency but unfortunately it doesn't and im a bit rusty too.
I also thought there would be jobs for native english speakers just as there are plenty of jobs in ireland for native french/german/spanish speakers with multinational corporations.

I'll certainly check out Switzerland, thanks for the advice
