Allergy Tests?

    Hi

I have been suffering from sinusitis a lot lately. I have had 3 sinus infections in the last 3 months. I am not sure what is causing them maybe dust or hay fever.

I have never suffered from sinus problems before until now. So what I would like to know is: Is there tests that I can take to discover what is causing the problem?

I have looked at the 'advanced allergy tests' on the internet but they all seem a bit unscientific.

Any help or recommendations would be great.

Yes, I work in an industry that requires us to have allergy tests periodically. Our doctor takes blood and they are sent to the Bon Secours in Cork - to the Pathology Deparment

I am sure that all of the hospitals have one. You could try contacting them directly or try your doctor.

Blackrock Clinic have an allergy guy - Dr. Bruce E Mitchell, however it's not cheap as they do a few tests and charge through the nose for each of them. And they don't accept credit or debit cards - go figure.
