    Hi
I'd opened some ports on my Netopia router and I was able to connect with them fine for months.
Last week (wednesday) I was unable to access them and still cannot now.

    The ports were
    9090
    5900
    8080

    I am in Malahide.

    Has anything changed recently?

    Thanks
    M

    Hi mathie,

I would advise resetting the router back to it's default settings and then opening your ports again.

    Router Reset

What are you trying to do? Are you port forwarding Torrents or opening ports for a specific game?

The following Link may be helpfu for Netopia 2247-62 - LINK
(Ensure you skip any adds, and scroll down the webpage to look for your specific service, or game ; for e.g: Xbox 360, etc.).

Let me know how you get on, or please post if your resolution for others.

    Thanks Ant

    Hi Ant

    Ill give that a go.

I am using a Logitech Squeezebox on my home machine and I opened a port to stream music to my Android phone.
I'm also using VNC to control my PC from my phone.

It was all working fine but I'll try the reset anyway.

Ill let you know how I get on.

    Thanks
    M
