Wow, didn't know the difference was that high, I know some sites won't let you pay in sterling if delivery is to an Irish address......

Depending on the price of the purchase, it can be very significant.

Yeah, I should have said "ALWAYS order where possible" - sites like Play.com don't let you but the mass majority do.

"We are sorry to inform you that due to exceptionally high demand we are unable to fulfil your order."

Gave me a 10% discount code for my troubles.

I also got a message from them saying "We are sorry to inform you that due to exceptionally high demand we are unable to fulfil your order." and offering me a 10% discount on my "next order at TheHut.com". What makes them think that I'd order from them again now ? First impressions count.

Not impressed, it does say when ordering to "Please check the stock availability notice on your item when placing your order. " and there was no mention of the item being Out of Stock when I ordered, so I suspect that the offer was so popular that maybe they held back some stock to be sold later at a higher price and this seemed to be confirmed when as was mentioned elsewhere on this thread, it was on sale at £9.99 the next day.
