Slight problem... But it's driving me insane!

I'm not sure if it's relevant but the laptop I have is a Sony Vaio. Sometimes when I'm on the internet the page gets bigger or smaller by some way I'm moving the mouse... Or whatever you call the equivalent of a mouse on a laptop! (I feel like such an idiot right now -.-) So right now when I go into my e-mail it's insanely huge to the extent I can't use it properly. How do I shrink it back to its normal size? Is there someway I can turn off this horrendously annoying setting?

    Is your CTRL key stuck?

Nope it's perfect. I got this laptop as a Christmas present and it's been happening since then.

Check your trackpad settings to see if there is anything there. There should be a trackpad icon on the notification area (right side of taskbar).

If not you can access the trackpad via control panel > hardware and sound > devices and printers.

On my track pad you can zoom in if you hold one finger on it and swipe left with the other.

Check your browser aswell. Very easy to zoom back out.

The fix for it is just hold Ctrl and press 0(that's the number zero). It will zoom out back to the normal setting.

And like has been suggested. It's just from a feature of your trackpad. You can do what Voodu Child has pointed out to get into your mouse settings and deactivate it if you don't want that feature.
