Small birds are the hardest animals to stuff, their skin is so thin and delicate. Its easier to stuff a pheasant than a finch.

I have a friend who is a taxidermist and he charges more for a small bird than he would for a pheasant, they take more time.

Got a nice Sika Stag and a Fallow Buck done by Kurt in the last 12 months, the latter was a remount of a head done by another taxidermist, who made a balls of it. Having seen a lot of different taxidermists work at game fairs... there are more bad than good ones out there.

Kurt has to be one of the best if not the best in my view, even nationwide done a programme on him a few years ago.
