... at 3% interest (being conservative), interest would amount to E11,100 (after DIRT) per night!

Jackpot is frozen now, raising the fund of the smaller prizes now instead.
No winner as EuroMillions rolls over again

The massive EuroMillions jackpot is set to roll over once more after last night's failed to find an outright winner.

With £166 million up for grabs, Brits had scrambled for a chance to become rich beyond their wildest dreams.

While no one was able to claim the huge top prize, two lucky UK residents did manage to scoop £3.3 million each after matching five numbers and one lucky star.
Despite the rollover, the jackpot will remain frozen at £166 million - a record high for the EuroMillions competition - with the next chance to win coming on Tuesday.
'This is amazing,' a spokesman for the National Lottery said.
'It was great that so many UK tickets banked big prizes and that is likely to be repeated on Tuesday when any prize money rolls down to the next prize level.'
The competition is on an amazing run of 14 straight rollovers and ticket money generated from those looking to become Britain's 418th richest person will go towards increasing the fund for the smaller prizes, rather than the jackpot, which has reached its limit.

... every bank in Ireland would give you at least 3% (and more) on that sum....

Think the Brits have a nerve playing the euro millions when they love to shout how independent they are from the euro zone! :D:rolleyes:
