was just wondering does anyone know of any par 3 golf courses, or even some of the more laid back public courses around cork city or even within a half hour drive?

started playing a bit and dont feel too up to the big courses yet! thanks!

Fernhill in Carrigaline is a good bet for any beginner.

Yeah, there used to be, I assume its still running. I think there was one in Schull years ago called Cosheen, might still be there. And Lisselan in Clonakilty has alot of Par 3's over water if I recall, I know a few guys who drive there from alot of weekends for a game, they seem to enjoy it alot and say the price is good.
Barleycove used to have a Par 3 course alongside the beach years ago, I don't think it still runs though.
Rosscarbery had a good Pitch and Putt by the beach, not quite par 3 golf though but better than the usual p&p.
