Car warranty question

Hi everyone, I bought a car two weeks ago. All appeared to be in good working order at the time of purchase and the car was NCTd until 2013. Yesterday I was driving the car, it cut out and would not restart. I was an hour from Dublin where the car was originally purchased. I called the AA and they were unable to fix the problem however they towed it to their garage which was luckily nearby. As the car is under a 3 month warranty the garage where the car was purchased have agreed to fix whatever the problem is but my question is who is responsible for paying the towing charges to get the car back to Dublin?

Are you a member of the AA?

I would imagine that you should have got the AA to tow the car to the garage you bought it from. I doubt they will cover the cost of towing now from where it is to the garage in Dublin even if you are a member.

I'd be pressing the garage you bought it from to collect it from where it is now rather than paying yourself and then trying to get the money back from them. My gutt feeling is though that the 3 month warranty might not include recovery/towing charges but talk to them again in the morning before doing anything.
