Airguns Legal in Ireland?

    Title says it all really, does anyone know if they are......and if so is there any european website that sells them? All the sites i have found were american.

    As said above no, you have to fulfull the cobditions as if you where applying for a rifle. The conditions are less if you apply for a shotgun!!!!!!!!

    yes they are legal as long as you hold the appropriate license,they come up for sale in the shooting forum every so often,if your thinking of getting one i wouldnt bother get a .22 rifle,it the same process you have to go through and at the end of it you'll have a real gun,its illegal to hunt with an airgun,they're only meant for target shooting in ireland,other countrys have different rules.

    I legally hunt with mine, it's limited but its legal. I also have a shotgun and an .17hrm. I have great fun with my air-rifle, I bag lots of rabbits, and it's very cheap to feed. 10e for 1,000 pellet vs 16e for 50 rounds for the hrm.
