can you please recommend a cheap place where i could buy them online, i am in germany and do not know where to look online on german sites so was hoping i could get some recommendations from you guys as to where i could get something like this online for cheap.

Do you need a J bar? There are vertical bars with an eye on top that are much cheaper. and hold two boats.

Don't go too cheap. Remember your responsible for the load on your vehicle. If the rack or kayak comes off it can do a lot of damage. And it never looks pretty.

You can get good roof racks second hand if you look around.
