Just wondering are many of you on this forum seeing someone at the moment? (God that sounds like I'm hitting on multiple people here ) Do you prefer being in a relationship or being single? (yes stole this idea from the ladies lounge forum )

If in a relationship, where did you meet your other half? I find it quite difficult to meet girls, as in lesbian/gay girls for dating. So just thought it'd be an interesting thread.

That is an outstanding question. I'm single at the moment, but I enjoyed the time I had with my ex, but for reason she lost interest and I thought I was an exciting sod :P

On saying that, I do prefer a relationship, but maybe that's just the stage I'm at in my single existance.

Edit: Forgot the story on how I met my ex. I was raising money for charity with a local radio station, which involved me getting naked and taking a trip through town. From there my ex kind of stalked me a bit through bebo and things went from there. :P

Ya I'm pretty impulsive at times and the strangest things do some to either happen for me or just fall into my lap when I go all out. So another round of very public streaking is in order. Could wind up in an arrest though :rolleyes:

Been with my other half for over two years now. We worked together and she was my boss. She also scared the crap out of me. Got drunk at a mutual friend's b-day one night and got together.

I'm a bit of a serial relationship kind of gal, to the extent that there's been a bit of overlap on occassion.

We met in a college charity society doing volunteer work. Flirted for about 6 months, finally got it together on an incredibly debauched society weekend away. :cool::cool::cool:

I just came out of a short relationship, we were only together a couple months and she was very sweet but I'm not used to relationships and ultimately didn't feel comfortable being in one after a while. I would love to be in a relationship.. but it's got to be for all the right reasons.

im single also - ill go out on a limb and tell yous ive never been in a relationship - well, not strictly true. i was with a guy for 3 years as a teenager and then another guy for 3 months. that was before i realised i was a great big flaming ladyfan. i mean all the signs were there. especially my crushes.
i met that 3 year fella online actually. that ended badly cos he did the dirty with a mate.
silly fecker stalks me every now n again. i used to keep a blog/diary online. one day he spots a mention of my ladyfan'ness and he replies 'so, we wouldve ended eventually anyway if youre gay' - perhaps. (as if that would absolve him of what happened). but i wanted to smack him one for his tactful words.

he didnt turn me off men. but i guess a lot of us have to give the opposite sex a lash to realize the truth. anyway that was 9 years ago. or was it 10....

id love to be in a relationship - ive never been a brief encounter type of girl - but im also happy being single too. i can do shizz i may not be able to otherwise. i love a spot of travelling (mexico here i come).

im 27
thankfully i wouldnt call it full on stalking - its just that i find hes been keeping tabs on me or reading my blog to see what ive been doing. occasionally leaves a message. i havent seen him do his stalky thing in a few years thank feck though.

Nah the guy I'm on about stalks my facebook , keeps talking about me and texting me and trying to talk to me on the street and he is always in around the same area as where I live

i am in a relationship at the moment, [not for very long though] i met her on the internet on a dating website that is particularly good in my opinion, i've also met alot of friends on this site

ah sorry i didn't mean to be all mysterious about what the site was, it's called OkCupid, most of the people on the site though are from america but there are irish people on it, i find the site good, an acquittance of mine met her boyfriend on there, you should check it out if you want

i meant that we haven't been dating that long, but i like her a lot so i guess we'll see where it goes

I've been talking to a guy for over a year, we've met a few times and have really hit off. Currently living 250 miles apart, but will be only 23 minutes (he drove to my new accommodation out of his own free will to find out the distance, how cute!) away come September, and I'm really excited! Have never met with another guy, but I'm ready and willing to settle down with him, and he is too!
