Anyone have any experience with taping leg muscles to prevent pain/injury?

I get various little pains in my right leg, nothing major, not enough to stop me, and I wouldnt want to do any damage:

I've used it as suggested by my physio as part of a number of lines of attack on ITB issues.

I feel it helped me but I used it along with appropriate strength and conditioning work, dry needling, grid rolling, stretching and sports massage. Not sure if it, or any of these solutions, would have been much use in isolation. I still put it on for runs over 15 miles and leave it on for a couple of days after.

Go see a decent physio and get a professional opinion from them.

Thanks. Yes, I'm being looking after by a PT and rehabing from a calf strain about 8 weeks ago.
