    Hi all,

First post here, went out lake swimming last night for a try out, didn't wear a suit (no beans) or a hat (utter damn foolishness).

Cannot afford a suit and, in fairness, warmed up bodywise OK in the end but maaaaaan my head hurt and it stopped me getting any decent stroke going on front crawl.

So, Hat recommendations ? I'm bald as a coot which doesn't help so would like at least to protect my poor brain next week and I don't think a normal speedo one will be warm enough..

    Thanks

    FBP.

    Fatboypee,

Your best options are something like this or just wear 2 normal swimming hats.

Was thinking of 2 hats, struck me one was tight enough tho :)

Thanks for replying. Will look in to the Blue Seventy version..
