So I drive a 2.0l Petrol Honda CRV , I put €50 in the car 2 wks ago in Top*z & got 250 miles out of it however put €50 into car in Texe*o this wk & am near empty after 180 miles even though Petrol in Texe*c was 2 cent a litre cheaper..?? Drive in the same areas, dont drive in rush hour so not burning fuel sitting in traffic...

Believe it or not, I was told the opposite yesterday. That Texaco was better for mileage, all depends on the station :)

Your method is highly inaccurate for a start. You need to be brimming it & resetting the trip, not this put 50 in craic. For instance your saying you put 50 in & got 250, then 50 & got 180, well how much was in the tank to begin with? Maybe thats the extra bit at the start? & whats 50 of petrol anyway? When looking at fuel consumption you should only be looking at volume over distance.

& it's been said time & time again that all fuel in Ireland pretty much comes from the one place so any perceived differnce between companies would be all in one's head.
