Just wondering if there is a map of the route anywhere? And if this is chip timed?

I've entered this as it is a local race for me.

From the info on the website, this is my best guess at what the route is.

Maybe someone involved officially could confirm this ?

Thanks jprender- I don't know Annagassan all that well but by that map I think the start is on the same road as the school?
There was a local one for me a couple of weeks ago and for the week before it loads of people were out running the route so I thought I might prepare myself for this one by doing the same. I hope its a great success for the village- I'm certainly looking forward to it.

I don't know Annagassan too well myself, when I say local, I mean it's in the same County :pac:

As far as I know, it starts at Dillonstown Church, and from searching around on Google maps, that is where I have my start point.

It would be great if someone could confirm it.

    From the website :-
On Saturday the 6th there will be a 10k run at 11:00am starting from Dillonstown church. From there it goes into Annagassan, down along the strand, up Togher hill, turns left into Salterstown then back along coast road to finish at Slan’s.

Enjoyed the race yesterday, got round in 43.06, a few tough hills in the first few K but the race itself was very well organised and marshaled. Hats off to everyone involved

Agree- lovely race, well organised- not over hilly but challenging enough.
