What I can't understand is how she got the prime time slot. Surely if Jessie J couldn't make it, the other established artists should have been bumped up the pecking order. I don't necessarily object to Amanda Brunker being given a chance but I think it's offensive to others who has sold records and tours, to follow a relative newbie.

Hurling insults at her (especially directly via twitter) is just not right.
There's no way anyone can take your opinion seriously if you do that.

She'll be no worse than most of the bands there now anyway. If this festival were 43 or so years ago, we'd have bands like The Kinks and The Who. Now we have acts like The Black Eyed Peas - that's the problem.

They're entitled to no such thing. Most of the tickets are bought prior to the line up even being organised. It's more about just being there for festival experience and to be guaranteed you're going to see a few bands you do have an interest in. You can't please everyone.

To a degree, they're entrusting the organisers to deliver which is their job to do. Otherwise wait for the line up, if you don't like it enough, don't buy a ticket. Simple.
