FORGET your flip-flops or hiking boots – the musthave fashion accessory at this Oxegen are €120 wellies.
Ilse Jacobsen and Hunter boots are causing a storm for fashion- conscious young festival-goers, come rain or shine.
The boots are being hailed as the all-weather Uggs for wet summers and snowy winters.
Colleen Rooney, Nicole Appleton, Laura Whitmore and a host of cool femmes were snapped last month in the trendy wellies at Glastonbury.
Peter Mackey, of Ilse Jacobsen, said the price tag for such boots was “irrelevant”.
“You cannot put a price on class and looking good,” he says.
Meanwhile Penneys are selling the most affordable range on the Irish high-street, with wellies for just €11.
The store said sales were booming and they looked forward to selling more festival fashion at their first pop-up shop at Oxegen.

 reminds me of the "im not a plastic bag" trend, surely some scoob will rob them?..
