Definitely going ahead, was speaking to organiser yesterday.

This is in the same area, and uses a few kms of the route, of last weeks Leinster Champs. Tough, draggy roads. Another uphill finish but this one is a shorter steeper ramp.

Hi, at what distance on this map is the finish. If its an uphill finish i assume the finish isnt at 0km(kildavin) is it at 7km?

Just looking at that map I think the course is plotted backwards. I'm fairly sure it races that circuit the other way around ie clockwise. Maybe someone who raced last year can confirm.

I think the finish is a fast descent to the bridge over the river and then a short sharp rise to the finish in Kildavin.

As KK says the finish is up the drag after turning right over the bridge in towards Kildavin, then it is flat into Kildavin and then a 2km drag out the other side. It is a tough circuit with lots of drags and harder than the Leinster Champs circuit which uses some of the same roads.

This had to be to oddest race well for the A3s you were given out to if you attacked the bunch. The punch up in the bunch in all a really negative days racing .
