Open Competitions and GUI Question

    Silly Question but here goes.

    If you play in an open competition and you score say 40 pts, does that club send your details to golfnet and is your handicap updated, and if so, how long does that take ?

    Or is your handicap changed only in home club competitions.

    Yes your handicap is adjusted for scores a certain amount above or below the CSS for the day in any qualifying competition, home or away. If you know the CSS and you are above this you should apply the cut yourself for any following competitions although this will be done officially within a few days or so. If you shoot below the CSS (outside your buffer) you will get .1 eventually when the score is processed but you cannot apply this change yourself.

    how do you apply the cut yourself ? and how do you know by how much to cut it by ?
